1. Massive bleeding caused by uterine contraction:
2. Intramuscular injection of oxytocin or ergoxine with contractions
3. Uterine cavity was filled with sterile gauze strip and balloon
4. Ligated pelvic blood vessels to stop severe postpartum hemorrhage
Massage the uterus
1. Properly fix the balloon and various drainage pipes
2. Strictly monitored vital signs, fluid inflow and outflow, blood loss, uterine floor position and maternal complaints for 24h to timely understand the status of hemoglobin and prevent hemorrhagic shock
3. Observe and record the height of the uterine floor to see if the uterine contraction is good
4. Apply broad-spectrum antibiotics to keep perineum clean and prevent infection
5. Continue to drip oxytocin for 12 to 24 hours
6. Do not press the uterus hard
7. It is recommended to release the balloon fluid gradually to reduce the risk of further bleeding
